The main goal of Weil’s boarding program is to support our Tennis Program by providing our players with a safe, family environment where we guide each child, as parents do, to develop into people of great character. We expect and encourage our boarders to develop the following: interpersonal relationships based on respect and kindness, a sense of responsibility for personal conduct, good time management skills, and self-confidence. Our residential staff assists our players in recognizing how these attributes relate directly to their tennis development and how it will ultimately enrich their lives.
Students from our boarding program find an enriching environment that helps prepare them for college and life beyond. Year after year, graduates from our boarding program tell us their transition to college was much easier specifically because of the skills they acquired at Weil. They report that they are more independent, self-confident, better prepared to make decisions on their own, more organized and more capable of setting aside time to study than many of their day school counterparts.
