Weil Academy welcomes students from all around the world,
offering a “home away from home” where students can realize
their greatest potential and forge lifelong connections.
At the heart of the Student Life program is a commitment
to fostering meaningful relationships, personal growth,
and a sense of belonging within a truly diverse and
international community. Through our multifaceted
curriculum, we emphasize the values of respect, empathy,
personal responsibility, and of course, loads and loads of fun!

Our student Captains make up the core of our student leadership – not only do they assist in the daily running of our student life program, but they also serve as mentors to our younger students and run our weekly Community Nights. These activities help to reinforce the bond of our student body through collaboration and friendly competition.

Students are grouped into mixed-aged and mixed-gender teams called Houses, which work together to earn points, support each other, and compete against other Houses in the ultimate goal of becoming the Weil Cup victors at the end of the school year.

In the dorms, our Residential Life staff don’t just oversee the supervision and safety of our resident students; they help them through their daily routines, resolve conflicts, and provide emotional support and guidance through the trenches of everyday teenage life.

Whether it’s through peer study in the evenings, a community service outing at the local Humane Society, an Advisor group trip to the Carpinteria Bluffs, a pre-Lights Out ping-pong tournament, or a trip to froyo in downtown Ojai, the Student Life program at Weil provides an endless cycle of learning, growth, and good times.
